The Kimidar Group is a group of companies founded in 1982, consisting of twelve companies in total.  Their primary areas of business are Tourism, Trade and Agriculture.  The Kimidar Group is capitalised at £97,000,000. and currently employs 2,300 individuals.  The company within the group that is developing Golden Park is Misr for Investment and Tourism Development.  Misr has been established to further extend and develop the Golden 5 City hotels and beach resorts in Hurghada City.

The Golden Park project is a European style residential gated compound and the first of its kind in Hurghada.  It will be constructed over an area of 200,000 m2 and will include fully managed centres of recreation with a large 5 star spa complex as its centre piece.  The group continues its expansion into the luxury residential resort market and is currently beginning a series of new projects that include plans for a 7 star private island spa as well as a series of new hotels and shopping mall complexes in the region.
